In addition to the Dumbo material, the collection includes sketches for other projects, copies of Durney's column for Design Magazine, and a transcript of her radio program over station WFBL of Syracuse.

The first African-American physician to establish a permanent practice in Syracuse, New York, Dr. Washington has been called one of "Syracuse's black pioneers."
